Twice a year, the Geode organizes a mineral fair in "Het Develsteincollege" in Zwijndrecht. Here, about 60 to 70 exhibitors give you a good look at what the mineral, fossil, and gemstone world has to offer. This can include raw minerals, jewelry, fossils, micromounts, books, etc. The fair also has plenty to offer for goldsmiths in the form of a wide range of cut stones.
The association will also have an information stand, where you can learn everything about them and their activities. In addition, there is a special stand where children can sharpen a stone themselves for only €1. Enthusiastic volunteers are ready to help with this and explain the polishing process and goldsmithing.
Finally, there is an identification stand, where you can have your own minerals examined and identified by experts.
