Details

Over the past few years, the Perth Gem and Mineral Show (PGMS) has established itself as the premier mineral and gem event in Australia—and one of the most significant in the entire Southern Hemisphere.

The inaugural event took place in 2021 at Curtin University, marking the largest gathering of its kind in Western Australia in decades. Featuring mineral and gem dealers, geoscience communicators, and industry professionals, the show quickly gained recognition for its scale and quality.

By 2023, the PGMS had grown substantially, moving to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre to accommodate its expanding audience and exhibitor base.

The show draws attendees from across the mineral, gem, and geoscience sectors, creating a unique forum for idea exchange, professional networking, and industry collaboration. Exhibitors benefit from the opportunity to showcase and sell mineral specimens, gemstones, and natural history products, while also demonstrating their commitment to the broader development of mineralogy and geoscience in Australia and beyond.
