For five days the New Jersey Convention & Expo Center in Edison becomes one of the largest marketplaces for gems, minerals, fossils and jewelry on the East Coast – for collectors hunting museum-quality specimens as well as for families.
Getting there and parking: the venue is right off Exit 10 of the New Jersey Turnpike, with plenty of on-site parking – a short drive from New York City and Philadelphia.
Admission: $10 on weekdays (Wednesday to Friday) and $15 at the weekend, each with re-entry on all days of the ticket's period. Family pass for two adults and two children: $20 on a weekday, $30 on a weekend day.
