About
Mineral City is a vibrant annual gathering that brings together mineral dealers, collectors, and enthusiasts from around the world. What began as an empty lot on Lester Street has grown into a thriving community with over 150 dealers, offering a unique experience centered around minerals, art, and connection.
At the heart of the D Building is The Stope, a mining-themed meeting space featuring historic artifacts, rotating guest mineral displays, and a permanent home for The Mineralogical Record. Visitors can relax with beer, wine, or coffee during business hours while enjoying the curated exhibits.
The hallways showcase collections from emerging voices in the hobby, including the Young Mineral Collectors group. Outside, the gathering space between Buildings C and D offers food, seating, and Tucson’s famous sunshine perfect for relaxing between visits.
Each year, Mineral City hosts a live concert featuring rock and roll favorites, and continues its tradition of public art with large-scale murals by featured artists. The art corridor between Buildings A and D has become a creative landmark, blending mineral themes with unique artistic expression.
Mineral City celebrates the mineral lifestyle in all its forms through discovery, education, community, and creativity.
