Sussex Mineral, Crystal & Fossil Show

One of the South East's longest-running mineral shows: more than 40 specialist exhibitors present minerals, fossils and gemstones from around the world. Highlights include talks throughout the day, demonstrations such as opal cutting and fossil preparation, society displays and expert advice.

Getting there: Haywards Heath is on the A272. The station is a nine-minute walk away, with frequent trains from Brighton and London; from London Gatwick airport it is about ten minutes by train.

Parking: free at the college (fills quickly); otherwise on-street nearby or pay parking at the station car park (Commercial Square).

Admission: adults £5, children £2; early entry from 9.15 am £10.
