About

Within a few years the Perth Gem and Mineral Show (PGMS) has established itself as the premier mineral and gem event in Australia and one of the most significant in the Southern Hemisphere. The first show took place in 2021 at Curtin University, the largest gathering of its kind in Western Australia in decades; in 2023 it moved to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Dealers, geoscience communicators and industry professionals meet here – to exchange ideas, network, and buy and sell mineral specimens, gemstones and natural history pieces. There are talks and workshops, UV-reactive minerals and display cabinets.

Getting there: public transport is recommended. Bring cash – there is no ATM at the venue.

Admission: AUD 10, concession AUD 5, children under 16 free; online family ticket (two adults, up to three children) AUD 16.
