About
The Earth and Man National Museum organizes three mineral shows: the International Mineral Show, the Easter Show, and the Christmas Bazaar. These are the only exhibitions of minerals, fossils, and gems in Bulgaria.
Held in the museum's Giant Crystals Hall, the International Mineral Show attracts around 3,000 visitors each year. 70 exhibitors participate, most from Bulgaria but with some regular participants from Armenia, Afghanistan, Serbia, Romania, and Germany. About half the stalls are for minerals and fossils, the other half for jewelry and gemstones.
The event also features competitions and entertainment events for exhibitors and visitors, young and old.
