The Hoorn Mineral Fair takes place twice a year, and during the fair, expert vendors display items such as gemstones, fossils, minerals, shells, meteorites, and jewelry. There will also be demonstrations such as cracking geodes and gemstone cutting, as well as various activities for children organized by the Amathysta association from Purmerend. Food and beverage options are available downstairs, with a beautiful view of the Markermeer.
