GEOLOGICA, the long-established mineral fair for the Bergisches Land region held in Bergisch Gladbach, is a popular meeting place for experts and collectors who exchange, buy, and sell minerals and fossils.
For five decades, however, it has also been a destination for anyone wishing to discover the wondrous world of stones and be captivated by it.
The ‘Landschaft und Geschichte e.V.’ (LuGeV) association, which organizes the fair in collaboration with the Cultural Office of the Rheinisch-Bergisch district, offers visitors the chance to try their hand at gold panning with real gold and to chat and recharge their batteries at the LuGeV GeoTreff over coffee and cake, cold drinks, and snacks.
