Austria's specimens come from the Alps. Clefts in the Hohe Tauern and the Zillertal yield epidote, quartz, fluorite and aquamarine. Carinthia adds wulfenite from Bad Bleiberg and the iron ores of Hüttenberg, Styria the aragonite of the Erzberg.
